Publication Sales

The Missouri State Genealogical Association’s (MoSGA) goal regarding the sale of its publications is to provide the public with inexpensive Missouri-related genealogical materials that have here-to-fore had a limited availability. Prices have been established to cover the association’s copying and postage expenses.

Effective 1 April 2009, MoSGA has the following three types of publications available for sale:

MoSGA Quarterly Journals. Since 1981 MoSGA has published a quarterly Journal concerning subjects of genealogical interest to Missouri researchers. A limited number of “extra copies” of these issues are available for sale at $5.00 per issue. Four Generation Charts.  Since its founding in 1979, MoSGA has     encouraged its membership to submit a 4-generation pedigree chart of their family genealogy with the goal of publishing these submittals for public purchase. Submitters gave their approval for eventual publication. To date MoSGA has received almost 2000 of these charts. Recently MoSGA prepared and uploaded onto its web site an every-name index of these 4-Generation Charts. This index contains over 28,000 names and can be found in the Surname Section of our web site along with a useful search engine.

The charts can be purchased individually for $5.00. When placing an order for a given chart, be sure to cite its Volume and page number.

Missouri County Data.  Over the years MoSGA has come into possession of about 50 printed sources containing genealogical data pertaining to specific Missouri Counties. The bulk of these sources were compiled by Betty Harvey Williams of Warrensburg, Missouri and where temporarily donated to MoSGA for fund raising purposes. The publication titles along with their respective purchase prices are listed on the order form below.
